How this Algorithm Works
The Real-Time Linen Calculator extracts the exact bed configurations from the properties based directly on the actual date boundaries you entered via URL (e.g. ?startDate=...). It runs strictly through these verification rules:
- Step 1: Exact Bed bundles matched per unit (1:1 with King, Queen, Twin count)
- Step 2: Flat Sheet Overrides: Automatically increments flats exactly 1:1 against bed type *only* if the property mandates "Triple Sheeting".
- Step 3: Bathmats = 1x per full bath
- Step 4: Bath Towels = 4x per full bath
- Step 5: Hand Towels = 1x per full bath, 1x per half bath
- Step 6: Washcloths = 4x per full bath
- Step 7: Dish Cloths = 2x per total unit / kitchen count
- Step 8: Dish Towels = 1x per total unit / kitchen count
